It is the world’s largest knowledge acceleration programme where school students are provided with a free platform to test and improve their knowledge on Curriculum, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The icing on the cake is that they will get rewarded for their performance.
The programme leads to India’s largest school quiz contest and the prizes for that are huge! Apart from that, there are lots of special quizzes on the app that will give out prizes. Find out more below.
Any school student studying in classes 6 to 10, both inclusive.
In the online rounds, students have to play individually. After that, a team of two students is formed based on the scores of all participants from the same school. The school team comprises the top two students from the online qualifier round. Two students will be chosen out of every 100 participants from each school.
Students from across India are eligible to take part. That makes it the largest quiz programme to be ever held in India. All schools–anywhere in the country–are eligible to participate
There is no cap on the number of students. Every student studying in class 6 through 10 can participate.
The curriculum section is for every student. This will help you improve your grades in school. There are quizzes modelled on competitive exams, and current affairs that will keep you informed in the easiest and shortest way. Moreover, there are prizes for special daily and monthly quizzes, best performers across cities, classes, topics and so on. Find more details below.
Two out of every 100 students from a school will qualify. So, if 500 students from a school register and play on the app, 10 students (or 5 teams) could qualify for the next level.
Don’t worry, your journey doesn’t end with the Mind Wars Quiz Contest. The app and content bank are there to stay throughout the year. You should keep taking quizzes so that:
You can prepare from the existing question bank on the Mind Wars platform. There are more than 15,000 questions, across the three buckets of Curriculum, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. All the questions will appear to you in a simple Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
We will communicate the results to the respective school’s principal or coordinating teacher. They will then inform the qualifying students.

Participation in the programme is FREE.
In case you do not have access to your parent’s smartphone you can also participate in Mind Wars through themindwars.zee5.comwebsite.You could access this on any computer- in the school computer lab, at home or on a tab or a phone.
It is not mandatory for registration on Mind Wars, but we urge you to fill in your School Code at the earliest, as it is mandatory for participating in the Qualifier Round.
You will find questions on chapters from books prescribed by NCERT (and SCERT in some states) for Social Studies and Science subjects from class 6 to 10. Apart from this, students will also learn about General Knowledge and Current Affairs, both curated for the target age group.
Definitely. But regular practice is recommended, so that students can perform better in the qualifier rounds. And that can happen only when you take the quizzes at home as well.
Of course. They can use the platform on computers in their school labs or elsewhere
Neither Zee5 nor the Mind Wars platform takes up much space on the phone. The app is light and easy to use. So, you can access the quizzes even if you have a weak internet connection.
One number or email id can support a maximum of two Mind Wars registrations. So you can use another phone, another SIM or another email id for more users. Remember that if you have two or more separate logins on the same phone, you (or your child) should choose the correct account and then play.
Go to the Zee5 menu after you login. Scroll down and click on ‘Parental Control’. A window will open up asking you to set the level of control and a passcode. Once you do that and save, you will be able to access regular Zee5 content only with the passcode.
Yes. The Mind Wars knowledge programme leads to a TV Game Show.
There are attractive prizes at every level, including gadgets, Mind Wars merchandise, certificates, and trophies. Every participant who has completed the online qualifier round will receive a Certificate of Participation.
